Eric Carle Art

Fun for all ages! For this piece I slapped on colors and textures any way I wanted on paper. I then cut pieces from the painted pieces to incorporate into the picture. I am a huge race fan and thought I'd do a story about 'Tough' the tire. The gray is the retaining wall, the brown surface is the actual track, and the green grass is the infield.

Van gogh Imitation Art

This piece was quite fun and is something I know students in a classroom would enjoy. I used tissue paper in warm colors to create the background. I then cut out the yellow corn to create a silhouette look. I picked this landscape because I love to travel in our lovely state and the warm colors and corn are found just about everywhere.
